Safeguarding at Love2Learn Education

At Love2Learn Education, we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where every child can thrive. Safeguarding the welfare of the young people we support is central to our mission, and we take a proactive approach to ensure robust measures are in place to protect them from harm.

We have a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), Kirsty Fox, who is trained in child protection and online safety. Parents and tutors can contact the DSL directly for any safeguarding concerns.

If you have any concerns about a child:

  • Within working hours (9 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday): Please contact Kirsty Fox at 07543 117776 or dsl@love2learneducation.com.

  • Outside of working hours: You can use the NSPCC online form here or call the NSPCC helpline on 0808 800 5000.

  • If you believe a child is in immediate danger: Contact the police on 999.

Our safeguarding practices align with key national frameworks, including Working Together to Safeguard Children 2023 and Keeping Children Safe in Education 2024. These guidelines ensure we remain up-to-date with best practices and local safeguarding issues.

We also provide tutors with access to a secure safeguarding concern form, ensuring all child protection concerns are recorded confidentially and acted upon appropriately.

As part of our commitment to child safety:

  • We act immediately if a child is at risk, contacting local authority social care, the police, or other appropriate services as necessary.

  • Tutors confirm they have read the latest statutory guidance on safeguarding.

  • Our policies aim to foster a trusted environment while protecting children from harm.
